በአፍሪካ ቀንድ የምትገኝ ኢትዮጵያ በታሪክ፣ በባህልና በክርስቲያናዊ ቅርሶች የበለፀገች ናት። በዓለም ላይ ካሉት እጅግ ጥንታዊ አገሮች አንዱ በመባል የሚታወቀው፣ አስደናቂ የመሬት ገጽታዎች፣ ጥንታዊ ቤተክርስቲያኖች እና በልዩ ባህሎች የበለጸገች ሃገር ነች። የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የአገሪቱን ክርስቲያናዊ ማንነት በመቅረጽ ረገድ ትልቅ ሚና የተጫወተች ቢሆንም ከቅርብ ዓመታት ወዲህ ግን የወንጌላውያን እንቅስቃሴዎች እየተበራከቱ መጥተዋል። ይሁን እንጂ ኢትዮጵያ እንደ ድህነት፣ የጎሳ ግጭት እና የፖለቲካ አለመረጋጋት ያሉ ተግዳሮቶች ህዝቦቿንና የወንጌል ስርጭትን የሚነኩ ናቸው። ከ120 ሚሊዮን በላይ ህዝብ ያላት ኢትዮጵያ ከአፍሪካ ሁለተኛዋ (በሕዝብ ብዛት የምትገኝ) ሀገር ነች፣ ይህም የወንጌል ወሳኝ ተልዕኮ መስክ አድርጓታል። ስለ ኢትዮጵያ እንድትጸልዩልን እንጠይቃለን። ይህንን ህዝብ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት እናነሳው፣ ህዝቡን እንዲባርክ፣ ምእመናንን እንዲያበረታ፣ ወንጌልን በየአካባቢው እንዲያሰፋ እንጠይቀው። እንዲሁም፣ ኢትዮጵያ በወንጌላውያን አብያተ ክርስቲያናት የሐሰት ወንጌል መስፋፋት እና እንደ ሙስና ያሉ ብዙ መንፈሳዊ ችግሮች ገጥሟታል።ለሰላምና መረጋጋት እንዲሁም አብያተ ክርስቲያናት በእነዚህ በአስቸጋሪ ጊዜያት የተስፋ እና የእውነት ብርሃን እንዲሆኑ ጸልዩ።

Known as one of the oldest nations in the world, it’s home to stunning landscapes, ancient churches, and unique traditions. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church has played a significant role in shaping the nation’s Christian identity, but in recent years, evangelical movements have also proliferated. However, Ethiopia faces challenges such as poverty, ethnic conflict, and political instability, which affect its people and the spread of the gospel. With over 120 million people, Ethiopia is Africa's second most populous country, making it a critical mission field for the gospel. Also, Ethiopia faces lots of spiritual problems within the evangelical churches, such as the spread of false gospel and corruption. We ask you to join us in prayer for Ethiopia. Let’s lift this nation before God, asking Him to bless its people, strengthen the believers, and expand the gospel in every region. Pray for peace and stability and for the churches to be a beacon of hope and truth in challenging times.
ለኢትዮጵያ የምንጸልይባቸው መንገዶች፡-
በመላ ኢትዮጵያ በተለይም በጎሳና በፖለቲካ ግጭት በተከሰቱ አካባቢዎች ሰላም እንዲነግስ ጸልዩ።
የኢትዮጵያ መሪዎች አገሩን ለማረጋጋት እና ህዝብን ለማገልገል በሚጥሩበት ጊዜ በጥበብ እና በቅንነት እንዲባርክ አምላክን ጠይቅ።
የኢትዮጵያ ቤተ ክርስቲያን በእምነት፣ በድፍረት እና በየቤተ እምነቶች በአንድነት እንድታድግ ጸልዩ።
በገጠርም በከተማም በድፍረት ወንጌልን እንዲያዳብሩ የወንጌል እንቅስቃሴውን ከፍ እንዲል ጸልዪ።
ክርስቲያኖች እና አብያተ ክርስቲያናት አንዳንድ ጊዜ በአንዳንድ አካባቢዎች ተቃውሞ ወይም እገዳ ስለሚገጥማቸው ለሃይማኖት ነፃነት ጸልዩ።
ስለ ኢትዮጵያ ወጣቶች ከክርስቶስ ጋር ባለው ግንኙነት ተስፋና ዓላማ እንዲያገኙ ለምኝላቸው።
በድህነት ውስጥ ላሉ እንደ ንፁህ ውሃ፣ የጤና እንክብካቤ እና ትምህርት ያሉ መሰረታዊ ፍላጎቶችን እንዲሰጥ ጸልዩ።
የጎሳ መከፋፈልን ቁስሉን ፈውሶ በህዝቦች መካከል እርቅና አንድነት እንዲያመጣ እግዚአብሄርን ለምኑት።
በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ለሚሰሩ ሚስዮናውያን እና የክርስቲያን ድርጅቶች፣ በብቃት ለማገልገል የሚያስፈልጋቸውን ነገሮች እና ጥበቃ እንዲያገኙ ጸልዩ።
ማንም ሰው ስለ ኢየሱስ ለመስማት እድል እንዲያገኝ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ላልደረሱ ወገኖች ወንጌል እንዲስፋፋ ጸልዩ።
የክርስቲያን መሪዎች ሌሎችን ደቀ መዛሙርት ሲያደርጉ እና በማህበረሰብ ተግዳሮቶች መካከል አብያተ ክርስቲያናትን እንዲመሩ እግዚአብሔርን ጠይቁ።
በውጭ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያን ክርስቶስን እንዲያገኙ እና በአለም ዙሪያ ባሉ ማህበረሰባቸው ብርሃን እንዲሆኑ ጸልዩ።
በዚህ ሳምንት ኢትዮጵያን በጸሎት ለማንሳት ጊዜ ስለወሰዱ እናመሰግናለን።
በአንድነት፣ እግዚአብሔር ጸሎታችንን እንደሚሰማ እና በዚህች ውብ ሀገር ውስጥ ታላቅ ሥራ እንደምናደርግ እናምናለን።
